West Papua Kasuari Kodam Builds Intelligence Detachment Headquarters
MANOKWARI - Kodam XVIII/Kasuari West Papua has begun to build the Intelligence Detachment Command Headquarters in the context of developing infrastructure and supporting facilities in order to realize maximum services and tasks.
The development of infrastructure and supporting facilities this year is the construction of a swimming pool and Mako Denintel in Manokwari which was marked by the laying of the first stone by the Governor of West Papua, Dominggus Mandacan, Wednesday, May 4.
The Commander of the Kasuari Military Command, Maj. Gen. Gabriel Lema, thanked the Governor and the leadership of the West Papua DPRD and the ranks who gave their attention and assistance to the XVIII/Kasuari Military Command in the construction of infrastructure and other supporting facilities.
He said this development must benefit the progress of the people of West Papua, such as this swimming pool can be a means of mutual honing, compassion and care for talented athletes.
Likewise, the presence of Mako Denintel Kodam XVIII/Kasuari must be able to help create a sense of security for the beloved region of West Papua.
Governor Dominggus Mandacan, who gave a separate statement, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Kodam and Polda West Papua and all levels for having the determination and commitment to continue to maintain security in the land of West Papua.
"It is all of us responsibility for us to maintain this section so that this area is always in a safe and conducive condition so that people can work, try for their personal and family lives and also help and help others," he said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, 4 May.
The governor also advised that in the future the swimming pool will be able to produce swimming athletes such as the National Swimmer Richard Sambera who has always triumphed at national and international levels, the West Papua Provincial Government will always provide support gradually and continuously.
