Task Force Records COVID-19 Vaccination Booster Dose Reaches 40,372,525 People

JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas) noted that booster doses of COVID-19 vaccination in Indonesia have reached 40,372,525 to date, an increase of 191,149 people on Tuesday, May 3.

Based on data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force received in Jakarta, as many as 48,264 people received the full dose of COVID-19 vaccine today, bringing the total number of recipients to 165,425,255 people.

Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 vaccinations with the first dose has reached 199,346,528 so far.

Even though they have received the COVID-19 vaccine, the public is advised to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols, namely using masks, washing hands with soap and running water, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds and reducing mobility.

Previously, there were 107 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia, bringing the total to 6,047,315 as of Wednesday (3/5).

The number of recovered cases of COVID-19 increased by 395 people to reach 5,884,059 people.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to COVID-19 nationally increased by 18 people, bringing the total number to 156,305 so far.
