Homecoming To The Netherlands Persib Coach Says Happy Eid To Bobotoh And Maung Bandung
JAKARTA – This year's Eid is a special event for Persib Bandung's team. Directly from the Netherlands, Maung Bandung coach Robert Rene Alberts wished him a happy Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijriah from his country. This statement is accompanied by the hope that the implementation of the competition next season will be better.
Congratulations on celebrating Eid al-Fitr for the people of Indonesia, especially the residents of Bandung and Persib, were uploaded through his personal Instagram account @robertrenealberts, Monday.
"Minal aidin wal faizin to all those in Persib and Bandung, and of course also throughout Indonesia," said Robert, in a video broadcast on his personal Instagram account. Robert reminded the public to maintain their health even though the COVID-19 pandemic had relatively subsided.
"And let's hope that our football gets back on track for the new season and we can all enjoy football again live in stadiums," he said.
Robert also couldn't wait to see Bobotoh, a Persib supporter, who continued to fill the stadium to watch his favorite team compete.
"Let's make next season the best. Happy Eid Al-Fitr," said the coach from the Windmill Country, quoted by Antara.
Robert is currently enjoying the moment of going home in his home country of the Netherlands, it can be seen from some of the moments he uploaded on his Instagram account.
One of the moments that Robert shared was his meeting with former Persib striker Sergio van Dijk.
Robert also seemed to enjoy meeting his friends and colleagues when he started his career at Ajax Amsterdam, including Simon Tahamata. Simon is a former Dutch National Team player in the 1980s who has Moluccan blood.
