Make Sure The Southern Route Is Smooth, The Minister Of Transportation BKS Visits The Security Post In Nagreg
JAKARTA - To ensure that the Lebaran 2022 homecoming season is safe and smooth, the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi directly inspected it. The Minister of Transportation visited the Cikaledong Security Post, Nagreg, Bandung Regency, West Java, Sunday or D-1 Lebaran 2022. He wanted to make sure the southern route had passed the peak of the homecoming flow.
According to him, the flow of going home in Nagreg is quieter than the previous days because the Nagreg area is the initial congestion point on the southern route.
"Today we are happy, the homecoming flow in Nagreg is running smoothly, you can imagine the peak of going home yesterday," said Budi, as quoted by Antara.
Budi said, on D-2 there were as many as 128 thousand vehicles that carried out mobility on the homecoming flow on the southern route. According to him, this figure is higher than the peak of the 2019 homecoming flow.
In contrast to 2022, according to him, the peak of the homecoming flow in 2019 on the southern route occurred on D-3. At that time there were as many as 97,000 vehicles registered to carry out mobility. "So even though there is a fairly high increase, it can still be controlled," he said.
Therefore, he appreciated the performance of the officers who were on standby on the southern route. In addition to unraveling the flow of traffic, according to him, officers are also on alert regarding health matters.
As for D-3 and D-2 ahead of Eid 2022, vehicles coming from the west are often faced with traffic jams in the Nagreg area. Congestion in the area is the tail of the congestion that occurred in Limbangan or from Malangbong.
The police in Nagreg have also carried out diversions or a system of opening and closing roads at the Nagreg intersection. The engineering was carried out to reduce the burden on Limbangan or Malangbong.
