Reopened After Renovation, Mini Park Visited 2,135 People

JAKARTA - A total of 2,135 people visited Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, during the opening of the first day which also coincided with D-2 Lebaran.

TMII Executive Director I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana said the amount was based on ticket sales until 17.00 WIB.

"Today, there are 2,135 visitors," said I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 30.

According to Sedana, there were not too many public visits to TMII at the opening of the first day because it was still in the atmosphere of the month of Ramadan.

It is estimated that public visits will begin to increase to TMII after Lebaran 2022 because it is in a holiday atmosphere.

"Visitings have not been crowded because it is still the fasting month. Estimated crowds are H + 3," said Sedana.

TMII managers will reopen the tourist attractions from April 30 to May 8, 2022, although some parts are still undergoing renovations. Previously, TMII was closed from 11 to 29 April 2022 for renovations.

There are 11 rides opened, including Bird Park, Fresh Water World, Komodo Museum, SkyWorld, Regional Pavilion, Legend Park, and Children's Palace.

Visitor capacity is also limited to only 25 percent or around 15,000 people, while operating hours are from 06.00 to 17.00 WIB.
