Police Complete The Beating Case Of Sons Of Siregar And Rico Valentino

JAKARTA - The case of beatings by PS Store boss Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino continues. The police are currently finalizing the case file.

As is known, Putra and Rico were named suspects for allegedly beating a cafe visitor named Nur Alamsyah in the Senopati area, Kebayoran, South Jakarta, Wednesday, March 2, at 20.30 WIB.

"Currently, we are conducting an examination to open the veil of the incident," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto when confirmed, Wednesday, April 27.

In this case, he said that his party had examined several witnesses, starting from TikTokers Chandrika Chika, CC and N. The goal was to find out what actually happened.

"Because of the first incident in the cafe, there were quite a lot of witnesses that eventually developed, so we have to do an investigation," he said.

"There is witness CC, it continues to expand to witness N, and so on. It's an internal process at the time who knows, including the CCTV footage that we have, it's still quite crowded in the cafe," he continued.

Previously, the Head of Criminal Investigation at the South Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Ridwan Soplanit confirmed a meeting between Chika and a female friend with the initials N.

"Chika's statement, they haven't seen each other for a long time. Then there was a problem, then they apologized, they hugged, they started crying," said Ridwan when confirmed, Friday, April 22.

"Well the reported, Rico, one of the suspects, he saw that and came and immediately spontaneously beat the victim. So Rico knew he (Chika) was crying because there was a problem with the table from the reporting party," he added.

In this beating case, Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino have been named as suspects. Both were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 5 years in prison.
