If so, all you need is an optical character recognition or OCR app on your Android phone. OCR is a technology that extracts text from images. This technology scans GIF, JPG, PNG, and TIFF images.

How to use it:
- Add a new note and tap the + icon
- Here, you can select Take photo to scan a document from the camera or select Choose image to import an image from your Gallery.
- Open the image, tap the three-dot overflow menu, and select Capture image text.
Google Lens
Google lens is available in all smartphones. You can use it very easily and quickly.
What you need to do is:
- Open Google Lens by clicking on the camera shape to the right of the Google widget on your home screen.
- If you want to move text from an image that is already in your gallery, you simply select which image to use.
- Otherwise, you simply click on the Camera shape and take a picture.
