Complains Of Gypsy King's Illegal Beatings And Calls For Re-Duel, Dillian Whyte: They Let Fury Do What He Wants

JAKARTA - Tyson Fury defended his WBC heavyweight title with a six-round knockout victory over Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium, England last Saturday.

The challenger showed good things, but he couldn't hold out for long. After the third round, he fell into the grip of the Gypsy King.

Despite the defeat, Whyte admitted to getting an illegal punch.

"I was shocked but obviously I tried (to regain consciousness) but he pushed me and I fell and hit my head on the canvas, that's illegal," Whyte said.

"This is not wrestling, this is boxing. But as usual, they let Fury do what he wants."

The Jamaican-born boxer does not believe that Fury will actually leave the world of boxing. To that end, he calls for a rematch against the Gypsy King.

"I hope he doesn't retire because I want to fight again," he said.

Whyte will wait at least six months before returning to the ring, the WBC deadline after a fighter loses by knockout.
