Monitor Stock In Real Time, Pertamina Ensures Resilience And Safe Distribution Of Fuel And LPG During Homecoming
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) has ensured its readiness ahead of the 2022 Eid al-Fitr. The Pertamina Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (RAFI) in 2022 is ready to secure the supply and distribution of fuel and LPG during this year's Lebaran homecoming flow.
Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati said the Pertamina RAFI Task Force had been formed and was effective from April 11 to May 10, 2022.
Regarding the flow of going home this year, Nicke said it was expected to experience a surge, especially after 2 years of the pandemic period, people were unable to return to their hometowns.
"Although there will be a surge in the number of homecomers, all Pertamina workers from upstream, refineries, shipping, marketing to gas work together to ensure that the community's energy needs are properly met. All data can be monitored in real time through the Integrated Enterprise Data and Center Command (IEDCC) which is an information center for energy distribution starting from upstream, refineries, shipping, fuel terminals to gas stations for 24 hours," explained Nicke in his statement to the media, Tuesday, April 26.
Based on the government's prediction, there are around 85.5 million homecomers and 33 million cars that will move throughout Indonesia during the Lebaran 2022 homecoming flow. For the stock and distribution of Pertamina's BBM and LPG, Nicke said that in general it is currently in a safe condition and running smoothly, even Pertamina has prepared additional stock according to the calculation of the projected average consumption for each product.
The Pertamina 2022 RAFI Task Force noted that Gasoline products during Ramadan and Eid in 2022 are estimated to increase by 11 percent from the RAFI Task Force in 2021, from 90 thousand KL per day to 100 thousand KL per day. Meanwhile, Gasoil products increased 24 percent to 44 thousand KL per day, compared to last year's task force of 36 thousand KL per day.
Meanwhile, the peak of the increase in gasoline consumption is estimated to occur on H-1, and H+1 (homecoming flows) and during the return flow of H+5. For diesel products, there will be a decrease due to restrictions on large trucks on H-4 to H-1 (during homecoming flow) and during H+5 to H+7 during reverse flow.
For Solar, the total national stock is 1.8 million KL. The national stock of Pertalite fuel is 1.3 million KL. For Pertamax, the national stock is 720 thousand KL, while for Dexlite it is around 4,600 KL. Pertamina Dex as many as 77 thousand KL and Pertamina Turbo as much as 41 thousand KL.
Meanwhile, for LPG products, both PSO and Non-PSO, it is estimated that there will be a 3 percent increase from the 2021 task force, from 25 thousand metric tons per day to 27 thousand metric tons per day. Specifically for PSO LPG, Pertamina's 2022 RAFI Task Force estimates there will be an increase of 6% from 2021.
As for Avtur, consumption is estimated to increase by 57% compared to 2021, from 5,434 KL per day to 8,527 KL per day.
"This is due to the mobilization of going home by plane this year, considering that compared to last year because this year the government has allowed going home and there is an easing of travel rules, thus encouraging community mobilization," explained Nicke.
In facing this year's Eid homecoming homecoming, Pertamina also provides fuel services during the RAFI Task Force period, such as standby gas stations in potential route areas (toll lanes, tourist routes, logistics routes) which are on standby 24 hours as many as 1,370 gas stations, while the standby LPG agents and outlets are available for 24 hours. also alerted up to 24 hours specifically in areas with high demand during Ramadan and Eid as many as 48 thousand units.
Meanwhile, in locations where there are no gas stations, a Pertamina Siaga Kiosk has been prepared which provides 85 units of Pertamax and Dex series spread over 47 locations. Motorist services, namely delivery services for BBM (Pertamax/Dex series) for consumers in congested locations are also prepared as many as 339 units. Tank cars that are alerted as bags/reserves for fuel supply are also prepared for up to 154 units.
"Not only that, we also prepare health facilities in collaboration with Pertamedika to provide health checks, including ambulances. We do everything to improve services so that people are safe and comfortable on their homecoming trips," concluded Nicke.
