MAKI Asks Ahok To Remind Pertamina's Managing Director Nicke Widyawati To Respond To The Call Of The KPK Council
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) plans to send a letter to the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahja Purnama alias Ahok.
This letter contains a request that Ahok remind the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati to cooperate with the summons of the Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"MAKI will send a letter to Ahok as the President Commissioner of Pertamina to order the President Director of Pertamina to immediately attend the KPK Council," said MAKI Coordinator Boyamin Saiman in a written statement to reporters, Tuesday, April 26.
Boyamin hoped that Ahok would respond to the letter. So, the KPK Council could examine Nicke to uncover the alleged ethical violation committed by the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Lili Pintauli Siregar.
Lili is suspected of violating ethics by accepting accommodation and Mandalika MotoGP tickets from PT Pertamina.
"The letter to Ahok is intended so that the examination of alleged ethical violations by the IDIC will be completed immediately and brought to trial," he stressed.
Previously, member of the KPK Supervisory Board, Syamsuddin Haris, said that the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati was not cooperative in responding to the summons for a request for information regarding the alleged gratification received by Lili.
"The clarification on Pertamina has not been completed because the Pertamina president director is not cooperative. He has been invited for clarification and rescheduled, but he did not attend," said Syamsuddin Haris in a written statement to reporters, Tuesday, April 26.
As a result of this action, the investigation of the alleged ethical violation was also hampered. In fact, Lili has not been examined because the collection of evidence and information is still incomplete.
So, the KPK Council hopes that Nicke can cooperate in responding to the summons so that Lili's alleged ethical violation can be immediately explained.
"Clarification to the LPS mother has been delayed because the collection of materials and information from external parties has not been completed," he said.
"Dewas hopes that the cooperation between the President Director of Pertamina can work together and be cooperative in uncovering alleged ethical violations by the LPS mother," added Syamsuddin.
For information, Lili allegedly received gratuities in the form of hotel accommodations to tickets to watch the Mandalika MotoGP from a state-owned company which was later named as a member of the KPK Supervisory Board, Syamsuddin Haris, namely PT Pertamina (Persero).
This complaint was then followed up by the KPK Council by asking for clarification from a number of parties. In addition, Tumpak Hatorangan et al have asked related parties to bring proof of booking accommodation at Amber Lombok Beach Resort and Mandalika MotoGP tickets at the Grandstand Premium Zone A-Red.
