Homecoming Flow Of Cisumdawu Toll Road In Sumedang Is Still Normal
SUMEDANG - The flow of going back and forth across the Cisumdawu Toll Road in Sumedang Regency, West Java on the D-6 of Eid al-Fitr is still normal, there is no increase in the flow of vehicular traffic.
The head of the Sumedang Police Traffic Unit, AKP Kiki Hartaki, confirmed that the traffic conditions on the Cisumdawu toll road homecoming route from Cileunyi to Pamulihan were still normal as usual.
"The Cisumdawu toll road section one Cileunyi-Pamulihan, the situation is still normal," he said, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, April 26.
He said a number of traffic police personnel had been alerted at every post and points that became prone to congestion on the homecoming route of the Sumedang area.
Sumedang Regency, which is a vehicle crossing area from Bandung to Cirebon and surrounding cities, he said, it is predicted that there will be an increase in the flow of homecoming vehicles on April 29 and 30, and May 1, 2022.
"It is possible that the peak of the homecoming flow will be on 29, 30 (April) and 1 (May)," he said.
Deputy Regent of Sumedang Erwan Setiawan stated that the regional government is ready to support the security for the 2022 Lebaran homecoming to ensure that the community is smooth, safe, comfortable, and healthy when going home.
The government has set a national holiday for Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri on May 2 and 3, 2022 and set joint leave on April 29 and May 4 to 6, 2022.
"We must prepare a safe and healthy community in celebrating the series of Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri by continuing to hold vaccination activities to pursue the target on April 30, 2022," he said.
