Students In Bali Arrested For Stealing 9 Piglets
GIANYAR- A student in Bali with the initials IGG (23) was arrested by the Tegallalang Police, Gianyar Regency, Bali, for stealing 9 piglets.
"Initial information regarding the theft has only been done once. Currently, the perpetrator and evidence have been secured for further investigation," said Tegallalang Police Chief, AKP I Ketut Sudita, Tuesday, April 26.
The theft of a piglet occurred on Monday, April 25 evening at Jalan Sikutan, Banjar Tatag. The victim who owns pigs, I Wayan Gatri, received information about the theft of piglets in his cage.
"When he arrived at the TKP and checked his pigs, which originally consisted of 40 pigs consisting of 12 sows and 28 piglets, it turned out that there were as many as 9 piglets that were missing," said AKP Sudita.
The police who received the theft report immediately launched an investigation. The perpetrator was arrested in Abiansemal, Badung, Bali. There were 9 piglets and a pickup that were secured from the perpetrators.
AKP Sudita said the perpetrator had pretended to buy pigs by using a pickup. Meanwhile, the stolen pig was kept in a friend's pigsty.
"Furthermore, the perpetrators and the evidence are secured to the Tegallalang Police for the investigation process," he said.
