Meatball Shop In Miami Cengkareng Rukan Burns, 3 People Get Burns

JAKARTA - A shop house (ruko) selling meatballs located in the Miami Rukan Complex Block D No. 17, Cengkareng Timur Village, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta, caught fire. The fire was caused by a gas hose leaking out of the fire.

"Three people were injured as a result of being hit by an explosion (a gas cylinder). They were named Iyan (20), Ojat (25) and Yudi (38). They were rushed to the nearest hospital," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Sjukri Bahanan to reporters, Sunday 24 April.

According to residents' reports, the fire broke out at around 17.17 WIB. The fire was extinguished by 5 cars and 25 firefighters.

"The fire was successfully localized at 17.32 WIB and cooled at around 17.37 WIB. The extinguishing operation was completed at 17.50 WIB," he said.

Sjukri said that the cause of the fire was a leak in the gas hose at the shop selling meatballs.

"The object that burned was 8 square meters on two floors. As a result of the fire, the owner suffered a loss of up to Rp 100 million," he said.
