Anies Hopes JakCloth X Hijabmarket 2022 Accelerate The Awakening Of MSMEs

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan hopes that JakCloth X Hijabmarket 2022 can accelerate the rise of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in the fashion and hijab sectors.

"So that it can reach various groups, both young and old. Because MSMEs are one of the sectors most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic," said Anies when opening the JakCloth X Hijabmarket 2022 event at JCC Senayan, Central Jakarta, reported by Antara, Friday, April 22. .

Anies advised JakCloth X Hijabmarket not to stop when the activity ended, but to continue the important points of an exhibition. namely helping SMEs to market their products and access a wider market.

"I entrust to make sure that after this 'event', there is an effort for MSMEs to be even bigger, because at the exhibition venue we can meet buyers," said Anies.

According to Anies, the annual activity which is usually held ahead of Eid al-Fitr can have an impact on economic movements in Jakarta by growing bigger.

"Jakarta is grateful that friends organize an 'event' that is important for the movement of the economy, where authentic works of the nation's children are facilitated and the market is prepared so that they can grow and develop," he said.

Governor Anies also hopes that this activity will become even bigger and become a positive trend. The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta supports, facilitates and is grateful to hear that there are more than 220 booths directly involved in this activity.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has also taken an active role in encouraging the development of MSMEs through the initiation of the Jakpreneur program which provides business development facilities through the stages of registration, training, mentoring, licensing, marketing, financial reporting to capital.

The program has also embraced many MSMEs in DKI Jakarta. Until April 2022, more than 307,000 MSMEs have joined this program.
