JAKARTA - Activision Blizzard has finally confirmed the long-rumored crossover for Call of Duty: Warzone. Godzilla and King Kong will arrive in the battle royale on May 11.

The event is called Operation Monarch and it's not entirely clear how exactly this monster will get into Warzone. However, a blog post notes that the event will introduce a new four-player Quads mode based on some classic experiences with a titan-sized twist.
Despite their militaristic vibe and setting, Warzone and the Call of Duty series in general aren't particularly known for hyper-realism. They've had a zombie mode for a long time. However, this seems like an odd crossover, especially considering the Godzilla vs. Kong came out more than a year ago.
Recently, Blizzard revealed the World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion on Tuesday, March 19. Dragonflight will allow players to explore Dragon Island, the ancestral home of Azeroth's dragonflight.
World of Warcraft Dragonflight doesn't have a release date yet but we hope Blizzard will share more details about the expansion in the weeks and months ahead.
