Cipali Toll Traffic Is Predicted To Increase 48 Percent During Lebaran Homecoming

SUBANG - Cipali toll road operator, Astra Toll Cipali predicts that the traffic volume on the Cipali toll road during the Lebaran homecoming season this year will increase by around 48 percent compared to normal daily traffic.

Director of Operations of Astra Cipali Toll Road, Agung Prasetyo, said that the volume of vehicles crossing the Cipali Toll Road is predicted to be 103 thousand vehicles at the peak of the homecoming flow, April 29, 2022. While the peak of the return flow is predicted to occur on May 8, 2022 with a total traffic flow of 116 thousand.

"During the 2022 Eid holiday, we predict an increase in traffic this year by 48 percent compared to the average normal traffic of 55,000 that crosses the Cipali toll road," he said, quoted by Antara, Thursday, April 21.

He ensured that all physical work along the Cipali Toll Road would be stopped on D-10 Eid or 23 April 2022.

Along with this, Agung ensures that the road conditions and the Cipali toll road markings are all in good condition. So that the driver can pass smoothly, safely and comfortably.

People who are going home are advised to prepare for their trip, in particular to manage time and routes by avoiding traveling at the peak of the homecoming flow on April 29, 2022 and the peak of the return flow on May 8, 2022.

Meanwhile, if there is congestion in the rest area, the Cipali Toll road manager together with the police will direct travelers to rest at the next rest area or exit at the nearest toll gate.
