Protesting Mass In Front Of DPR: Jokowi Resigns, Jokowi Resigns

JAKARTA - The masses began to stage a demonstration in front of the DPR building. The masses from the People's Alliance to Sue demanded that President Joko Widodo resign from his position because they were deemed unable to manage the country.

"Jokowi resigns, Jokowi resigns, Takbir!," said the orator of the action in front of the DPR building, Thursday, April 21.

The masses of action were mostly workers, as well as mothers. In the demo. the orator hurled harsh words against the government. The masses question the government's concern for foreign workers

"Cooking oil costs twice the price of Pertamax. Cooking oil is expensive, you have to boil it, 10 million jobs for foreign workers," he exclaimed.

"The stupid regime really uses it. To bankrupt the Indonesian nation, the debt is Rp. 1,000 trillion," said the orator.

There are also demands from the masses of the People's Alliance to Sue, namely to cancel the Ombibus Law, ask Jokowi to step down as president, and dissolve the DPR.

"First, cancel the ombibus law. Secondly, Jokowi resigns from office, the three DPRs are unable to carry out their functions and instead become the people's robbery council. So we declare the DPR to be dissolved without conditions," he stressed.
