Register Immediately, The Ministry Of Transportation's 2022 Free Homecoming Quota Is Almost Finished

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation has confirmed that it will not increase the homecoming quota again this year. Because, the time is not possible. Currently, the quota for free homecoming is only 350 people out of a total of 20,580 people.

The Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Budi Setiyadi said that despite the high enthusiasm of the public, the government, in this case the Ministry of Transportation, did not plan to increase the free homecoming quota.

As is known, the Ministry of Transportation has opened two stages of the Lebaran homecoming program. At stage 1 as many as 10,500 are fully charged. Meanwhile, in phase 2, the Ministry of Transportation will provide 10,080 people.

"I just updated it, it turns out that there are only 350 quotas (phase 2). This means that I think it's over. It's just the sea. There are no additions. It's time for us to add more," he told reporters, quoted Thursday, April 21.

The Ministry of Transportation has budgeted IDR 10 billion to add to the free homecoming quota for Eid 2022. This is because the enthusiasm of the people who register is quite large. Thus, the Ministry of Transportation's free homecoming budget this year is Rp. 20 billion.

"So later we can bring around 21,000 including the vehicles that we bring about 2,200," he said.

The Ministry of Transportation's free homecoming registration will be open until April 24. However, registration can be closed at any time if the quota has been met.
