Wow! Ghostbusters VR Game Coming Soon In Meta Quest 2

JAKARTA - Meta has just held a Meta Quest Gaming Showcase event which provides some views for the gameplay of the previously revealed game titles, as well as the reveal of new titles.

At the event, Meta shared a surprise with the announcement of a Ghostbusters VR game in progress for Meta Quest 2. Sony Pictures Virtual Reality (SPVR) will publish a four-player co-op game, which is being developed by Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity studio. nDreams.

Ghostbusters is a 2009 action-adventure game based on the Ghostbusters media franchise. Terminal Reality developed the Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 versions, while Red Fly Studio developed the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Wii versions.

SPVR says the game will have an "extensive and exciting campaign" that you can do alone or with up to three friends. No release window has been announced, but SPVR says more will be revealed in the coming months.

It's also not the only Ghostbusters title in the works. Friday the 13th: Game developer Illfonic is working on Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, which will pit a team of four players against another person controlling a ghost. The game is scheduled to arrive on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox later this year.
