President Jokowi Calls Minister Sofyan Djalil, Orders To Facilitate The Making Of Gresik Fisherman's Land Certificate
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) facilitated the issuance of land certificates in the form of oloran land owned by fishermen who live around the Bale Purbo Fishing Boat Pier, Gresik Regency, East Java.
During a dialogue with fishermen's representatives, President Jokowi received a number of aspirations, one of which was that fishermen complained that it was difficult to obtain land certificates for the land they had occupied for years because the land was oloran land.
Oloran soil is soil that appears or arises near the coast due to the process of deposition of mud or sedimentation carried by river currents.
"Because the land is oloran land, reclaimed land from sediment naturally, so it can't be certified," said the President when giving a press statement after visiting the Bale Purbo Fishing Vessel Pier, Gresik Regency, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, April 20.
Hearing this, the President immediately called the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR)/Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) Sofyan Djalil.
The President also asked the Minister of ATR Sofyan Djalil to immediately send a team to produce land certificates.
"I called the Minister of BPN directly, it can be (certified), so we will solve it," said the President.
After calling the Minister of ATR, President Jokowi assured the fishermen that the land they owned would be handled by a team from the Ministry of ATR.
The visit of President Jokowi and his entourage to the Bale Purbo Fishing Boat Pier is the closing agenda of the President's series of working visits in East Java Province.
Previously, the President started his work agenda with the inauguration of Trunojoyo Airport in Sumenep Regency, then continued his trip to Bangkal Baru Market, Sumenep to monitor the distribution of BLT cooking oil.
Furthermore, the President departed from Surabaya to the PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) Office in Surabaya, to attend the Holding Launch and the Strategic Program of the State-Owned Enterprises Defense Industry Defend ID.
