Tourists In Kuta Complaints Tissue Trader Boy Who Was Forced To Buy Merchandise

BADUNG - The traveling tissue seller boy in the Kuta Beach area, Badung, Bali makes foreign tourists and local tourists uncomfortable. They often force them to buy tissues and some even ask foreign tourists for money.

“There was a complaint from one of the guides yesterday. He took a guest to Jalan Kuta Beach. Coincidentally, the guest was told to buy tissue, the guest didn't want to and then he asked for money not to be given. The guests continue to chase and pinch their hands," said Kuta District Secretary, Made Agus Suantara, Wednesday, April 20.

The tissue vendors who make tourists uncomfortable are mostly children aged 10-11 years

"The average is small children. (The mode) is based on reports that guests are constantly being chased and forced to buy tissues," he added.

His party had brought children who were selling tissue to the sub-district office. But then the kids selling tissue appeared again.

"A lot of the time we were able to pick up from the Satpol PP, coincidentally, at night there were 10 children," said Suantara.

So that the incident does not happen again, the sub-district mobilized members of the linmas and Satpol PP. If traders are found to be unsettling, they will conduct training.

"We have coordinated with the Social Service and they are ready to accommodate and will return to their original place and make a statement, we will record everything," continued Suantara.
