Dozens Of Houses In Cirebon Damaged By Tornadoes
CIREBON - A tornado damaged dozens of houses and two factories in Cirebon Regency, West Java.
"For houses that were damaged by the tornado, there were around 70 units, that's temporary data," said Cirebon Regency BPBD Field Coordinator Faozan, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 20.
"The damage was light, moderate, to heavy, and the roofs of the houses were mostly detached," he said, adding that BPBD was still recording the number of houses that were lightly, moderately, and heavily damaged by the hurricane.
Faozan said the tornado that hit six villages in Cirebon Regency on Tuesday (19/4) afternoon caused the most damage in Lurah Village, Plumbon District.

Apart from causing damage to buildings, he said, the tornado also injured one person and had to undergo treatment at a health clinic.
"There are no fatalities, but there is one resident who suffered a head injury and is currently being treated," he said.
