AKAP Bus Tickets At Pulo Gebang Terminal On 27-30 April Sold Out Before Homecoming

JAKARTA - All intercity and interprovincial bus tickets (AKAP) at the Pulo Gebang Integrated Bus Terminal, East Jakarta, have been sold out ahead of this year's homecoming season.

The Haryanto Autobus Company (PO) officer, Basmila, said that prospective travelers had booked AKAP bus tickets for April 27-30, 2022.

"Passengers are starting to get crowded, prices are also starting to spike," Basmila said, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, April 19.

Basmila added, the increase in AKAP bus ticket prices has doubled compared to the normal price.

He said prospective travelers had booked tickets online for a number of destinations on the islands of Java and Sumatra.

"A doubling of the price for all majors is the same. For example, the normal price is IDR 220 thousand, the highest increase is IDR 520 thousand," said Basmila.

Meanwhile, PO Harapan Jaya officer, Eko Setiawan, said that prospective travelers had ordered AKAP bus tickets until May 3, 2022.

"From April 27 to April 30 everything has been sold out. The additional bus tickets have also run out," said Eko.
