JAKARTA - At the end of the 2021/2022 Liga 1 season, Persija Jakarta ended its collaboration with a number of players. Macan Kemayoran announced this through their official Instagram page.
In the latest upload on Tuesday, April 19, the three names of players released from the Capital City team were Novri Setiawan, Yoewanto S. Beny, and Adixi Lenzivio.
Accompanying this news, Persija also did not forget to express their gratitude for the contribution of the three players while joining the team.
"Thank you for fighting alongside the Kemayoran Tigers," read a club statement.
"Persija Jakarta officially does not extend the contract of the three players and wishes them the best for their future careers," continued the written statement.
Previously, Persija also announced that they had ended their collaboration with Ichsan Kurniawan.
Besides Persija, Persib Bandung also announced the news of their separation. At the end of the competition, Maung Bandung ended the partnership with their young goalkeeper, Aqil Savik.
The issue of the separation between Persib and Aqil was widely echoed before the competition was over. Especially after the League 1 title ended, Aqil had time to give a code to leave in an upload on his Instagram account.
Persebaya Surabaya also followed Persib's decision to release one name. As of April 19, Bajul Ijo announced that he had parted ways with Rendi Irwan.
Rendi Irawan was the last player to leave Class of 2017. Previously, Persebaya had also parted ways with another Class of 2017 player, Oktafianus Fernando on the same day.
“There are no easy words to say goodbye. Happiness and tears while together have now turned into memories. But your name will forever be written in Persebaya's long history. A team that is also because of you can be called a FAMILY," Persebaya wrote in its statement.
