This Is What You've Been Waiting For! Persib Bandung Announces Another New Player
JAKARTA - Persib Bandung continues to polish its squad by bringing in new players. Today, Monday 18 April, Maung Bandung officially announced the arrival of a new goalkeeper.
He is the former goalkeeper of Persipura Jayapura, Fitrul Dwi Rustapa. This Garut native player was brought in to become a competitor to Teja Paku Alam.
"After an adventure far to the east of Indonesia, he finally returned to Bumi Parahyangan. It's official now! Wilujeng Sumping Fitrul Dwi Rustapa," Persib said in a statement on their Instagram account.
Fitrul's presence is to replace Muhammad Natsir's position. The player who is familiarly called Deden officially left on Sunday, April 17 yesterday.
Eight seasons with Persib, Deden is said to want to find a new challenge. Director of PT. Persib Bandung with dignity, Teddy Tjahjono said that his party respected the player's decision.
"On behalf of the management of PT Persib Bandung Dignity, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Muhammad "Deden" Natshir for his extraordinary dedication and loyalty to the team for 8 seasons since 2014," said Teddy, in the club's official website.
"Deden Natshir needs a new challenge and atmosphere in his football career. We certainly really respect and understand all player decisions. We will also always support and wish him the best," continued the Persib Bandung boss.
