Holding Ramadan Fashion Festival, Ministry Of Trade Is Committed To Making Indonesia A Center For World Halal Products By 2024

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Trade will hold an In Store Promotion "Ramadan Fashion Festival 2022" at Gandaria City Mall, Jakarta on April 14-17 2022, part of a series of promotions for the Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2023.

Director General of National Export Development Didi Sumedi said the Ministry of Trade would focus on promoting and strengthening the ecosystem for the development of the national Muslim fashion industry.

"This is in line with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo to make Indonesia a center for world halal products by 2024, including Muslim fashion products," said Didi, quoted by Antara, Sunday, April 17.

The event, which was a collaboration between the Ministry of Trade and the Indonesia Fashion Chamber (IFC), the Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI), Mustika Ratu and Gandaria City presented a talk show to a trunk show from an Indonesian Muslim fashion brand which was broadcast on the Youtube channel of the Ministry of Trade.

Muslim fashion brands presented include Khanaan, Kami, Raegitazoro, Tenun Gaya by Wignyo, L.tru, Najua Yanti, Deceusuzan, Irna La Perle, Reborn29 by Syukriah Rusydi and Sofie.
