NIKI Becomes The First Indonesian Female Singer At Coachella: Very Thankful
JAKARTA - NIKI became one of the singers who appeared in the Coachella event, the largest music festival in the United States. He performed on Friday, April 15, Los Angeles time, with label mates from Indonesia, Rich Brian and Warren Hue.
Being the first Indonesian musician to perform at Coachella made NIKI grateful and grateful. He said all of this could not be separated from the support of his fans and parents.
“This moment is very historic. Like I said, I still don't really feel it but I'm grateful," NIKI said when asked by an interviewer.
"I am very grateful and lucky to be in this position," said singer Niki Zefanya.
NIKI also said she received a lot of messages from fans saying they were starting to do creative things because of it. This made him even more grateful for being supported by so many people.
“They said I had to live a good life. Make decisions and understand the consequences. Can decide what can be enjoyed, “he explained.
NIKI also felt proud when she got the opportunity to fill the soundtrack for the film Shang-Chi. The song Every Summertime that he sings has now become viral and is known everywhere.
“Ever since I heard that Shang-Chi was going to be made into a film, I felt that we as Asians were starting to be recognized. It feels great to see you, your father, your brother represented. I'm grateful to be a part of that film," he said.
NIKI performed on the Head in the Clouds Forever stage from 88rising with Utada Hikaru, Rich Brian, MILLI, BIBI, Jackson Wang, CL, and others. The Coachella event will be held on April 15 and 17 and April 22 and 2022. This music festival can be watched on Coachella's official YouTube channel.
