Social Minister Ensures Supervision Of Distribution Of BLT Cooking Oil To Papua
JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini ensured supervision for the distribution of cooking oil direct cash assistance (BLT) throughout Indonesia, including the Papua region.
Social Minister Risma said the distribution of cooking oil BLT to 20.56 million Beneficiary Families (KPM) until April 21, 2022.
The distribution of the cooking oil BLT is confirmed to be compatible with the validated integrated social welfare data (DTKS).
In some cases, such as the distribution of aid in Papua, Social Minister Risma uses certain methods to monitor them so that they are right on target.
"For example in Papua, we have to use tribal chiefs to work together, there is a church. We even have to rent a special plane," said Social Minister Risma as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 13.
He also emphasized that the distribution of BLT for cooking oil must be completed before May.
Then in May, KPM will receive regular social assistance (bansos) as usual.
The distribution of cooking oil BLT funds was carried out between April 4-21 together with the basic food card program or BPNT (Non-Cash Food Aid).
BLT cooking oil is given with an index of Rp. 100,000 every month for three months (April, May and June), which is submitted all at once in April 2022. So that people who meet the requirements will receive assistance worth Rp. 300,000 per KPM – which is submitted in cash through PT Pos Indonesia.
BLT cooking oil reaches the target of 20.65 million KPM. They are 18.8 million KPM Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) and 1.85 million KPM Family Hope Program (PKH) which have not been registered as BPNT recipients.
