Palembang's Third Dose Vaccination Achievement Increases By 2,784 People
PALEMBANG - Palembang City Health Office, South Sumatra recorded the number of achievements of the third dose of COVID-19 vaccination increased by 2,784 people or 15.92 percent on Monday, April 11 from the previous 1,513 doses on Thursday, April 7.
With this addition, currently, the number who have been vaccinated with the third dose is 197,549 people out of a total of 917,846 people for the targets of Health Human Resources, Public Officers, Elderly Communities, General Vulnerable Communities, and Pregnant Women.
A spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force at the Palembang Health Office, Yudhi Setiawan, in Palembang, Tuesday, said the sharp increase in the achievement of the third dose of vaccination occurred after the government made the third dose of vaccination one of the requirements for people to carry out homecoming trips for Eid 1443 H.
"Every day the number continues to increase, in fact, on April 8, 2022 yesterday it reached 4,435 people a day", said the spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force for the Palembang Health Office, Yudhi Setiawan in Palembang, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, April 12.
According to Yudhi, the policy is to make the third dose of vaccination a condition of the trip, so that the community's immune system can be stronger so that exposure to COVID-19 can be optimally prevented.
Meanwhile, based on the recap of data on the number of achievements of the third dose of vaccine at the Palembang Health Office, it is currently recorded, for the vaccination of Health HR, an increase of 14,984 people from the total target of 14,493 people.

Vaccination of 37,785 public service officers out of a total target of 88,665 people, 21,330 elderly people out of a total of 128,519 targeted people for vaccination.

Meanwhile, the second dose of vaccination has reached 1,056,206 people, or 85.11 percent of the total target of 1,240,849.
