JAKARTA - A total of four sub-districts in Central Bengkulu refused to distribute bulk cooking oil. The reason is the fear of social jealousy.
The four sub-districts are Taba Penanjung, Talang Empat, Bang Haji and Karang Tinggi. The sub-district head of Taba Penanjung, Noni Oktarina, explained that his party refused to distribute the bulk cooking oil because it had been rejected by the village head forum at a meeting a few days ago.
This is because the availability of bulk cooking oil cannot meet the needs of the residents in the villages. ," he explained, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 9.
Meanwhile, Head of Disdagperinkop and UKM Central Bengkulu Regency, Sugeng Oswari said differently. He said the four sub-districts refused because packaged cooking oil had been circulating in stalls.
"Based on the results of the meeting with the sub-district head, there were seven sub-districts that agreed to distribute bulk cooking oil," said Sugeng. The distribution of bulk cooking oil will be distributed in two stages, the first stage will be distributed to Pondok Kelapa District, Pondok Kubang District, Merigi Kelindang District and Sub-District Semidang Lagan with a total of eight tons of bulk cooking oil. Furthermore, for the second stage, it will be distributed to Merigi Sakti District, Pematang Tiga District and Pagar Jati District as much as eight tons. sub-district so that local residents can directly make purchases at the shop or stall concerned. The selling price must be in accordance with what has been set by the government, which is Rp. 14 thousand per liter.
"For shops or stalls the recipients have signed an integrity fact agreement and prepared their identities such as ID cards and NPWP," he said.
