REJANG LEBONG - The Resort Police (Polres) of Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu, carried out a round-the-clock COVID-19 vaccination at night or after Tarawih prayers.
Rejang Lebong Police Chief AKBP Tonny Kurniawan said his party was committed to continuing to assist the local government in accelerating the achievement of mass vaccinations to create communal immunity.
"The Rejang Lebong Police will carry out mobile vaccination activities at night during Ramadan, this activity will be carried out on Friday night, April 8, 2022 at the Baitul Makmur Curup Great Mosque," he said in Rejang Lebong, Antara, Wednesday, April 6.
He explained the idea of carrying out mobile vaccinations at night or after Tarawih prayers at around 20.30 WIB until it was finished to make it easier for people who could not participate in vaccinations during the day.
Residents who take part in this vaccination, either for 1, 2 or 3 doses or boosters, he said, will get packaged cooking oil that they have prepared.
So far, mass vaccinations carried out by the Revaco Polres Rejang Lebong team since the vaccination in 2021 until now have provided vaccinations of up to 40,000 doses.
Meanwhile, based on data received by the Rejang Lebong Police, until April 6, 2022 at 17.00 WIB, the achievement of COVID-19 vaccination in Rejang Lebong Regency was ranked 6th out of 10 regencies/cities in Bengkulu Province above North Bengkulu, Lebong, Mukomuko and Seluma Regencies. .
The current achievement of the COVID-19 vaccination in Rejang Lebong Regency for giving dose 1 has been followed by 196,626 people or 90.26 percent of the target of 217,861 people. Then the administration of dose 2 as many as 151,842 people or 69.70 percent and giving dose 3 or a new booster followed by 13,419 people or 6.19 percent.
