Orleans Masters 2022 Complete Results: Putri KW Wins The Champion Trophy, Rehan/Lisa Runner Up

JAKARTA - Indonesia won a title at the 2022 Orleans Masters. The champion trophy was won by the single daughter of Merah Putih, Putri Kusuma Wardani.

In the final which took place on Sunday, April 3 local time, Putri KW defeated the representative of the United States, Iris Wang. The fourth seed was bent through a three-game match in 1 hour and 4 minutes.

Having fallen behind 7-21 in the first game, Putri KW immediately got up and gave fierce resistance. He successfully closed the second game with a 21-19 advantage and closed the match with a 21-18 victory in the deciding game.

Putri KW's steps failed to be followed by their compatriots, Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati. The Indonesian mixed doubles lost to the eighth seed from Singapore, Hee Yong Kai Terry/Tan Wei Han.

Losing 12-21 in the first game, Rehan/Lisa stole the second game with a score of 21-16. Unfortunately in the third game they again gave up on the Singaporean pair with a score of 13-21.
