Spain In Hell's Group With Germany, Enrique: We'll Enjoy It
JAKARTA - The coach of the Spanish national team, Luis Enrique, commented on the draw for the Qatar 2022 World Cup which had already been held. Spain is in the hell group with Germany.
From the results of the draw, Group E is indeed a group that is considered hell. There were Spain and Germany who subscribed to the top teams. Not to mention Japan and waiting for the winner between Costa Rica / New Zealand.
In Group E, the attention of football lovers will be more focused on the competition between Germany and Spain. Because both of them have great strength which in fact would be sad to see one of them fall in the group phase.
Responding to the meeting of Spain and Germany in one group, Luis Enrique actually gave a unique reaction. Realizing that his team will face a strong opponent, Enrique still has time to joke in response to the fate of La Furia Roja going forward.
"It's easy, isn't it? With Germany?" said Enrique with a laugh quoted from Mundo Deportivo.
Even though he was joking, the coach who is familiarly called Lucho later admitted that he was happy because his team could compete with a strong country like Germany even from the group stage.
Enrique said, Spain will enjoy every moment created when competing with Der Panzer.
"That would be very good. This is a group filled with tough rivals, we will enjoy it, because the schedule for playing in the World Cup is not often enough," he continued.
Enrique seems well aware of the potential danger that Der Panzer can pose. However, the coach tries to remain optimistic and considers his team capable of advancing to the next phase.
For Enrique, beating Germany will be extraordinary for La Furia Roja in the 2022 World Cup. The coach also believes his team can carry out the mission, especially since they have a composition of quality players in every line.
"We will continue to believe in our abilities as a team," said Enrique confidently.
"Our style of play is very clear and also the idea that we bring here. Competing with us will be very complicated and difficult for them (Germany) to beat us."
"Every country has a chance to beat us but we will beat all countries," he said firmly.
The 2022 World Cup which will be held in Qatar this year will be different from the previous edition. Because if it usually takes place from June to July, this time the four-year competition has been postponed from the schedule.
FIFA chose to move the tournament kick-off time back to November to December. That time was chosen because they thought that everything could be more supportive and conducive if the tournament was held at that time.
