Director General Of Health Hands Over JKM Compensation At JPO Pinisi Jakarta
JAKARTA - The Director General (Dirjen) of Health Workers (Nakes) of the Ministry of Health, Arianti Anaya, symbolically handed over the Death Insurance (JKM) compensation at the Health Personnel Monument, Pinisi pedestrian bridge (JPO), Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta.
A compensation of Rp42 million was given to Isrokayah, the heir and biological mother of the late Muhammad Ilyas. The deceased was a volunteer handling COVID-19 placement at the Wisma Atlet RSDC who died due to illness.
"Hopefully this compensation will be useful for the family left behind by the deceased," said Arianti, Friday, April 1.
According to him, health workers and volunteers handling COVID-19 are on the front line who have a high risk. "It is the government's responsibility to guarantee protection programs for health workers and volunteers," said Arianti.
The guarantee program for protection and incentives for health workers is clear according to the regulations of the Minister of Health in force. Currently, his party is trying to optimize the protection program for health volunteers.
"For that we are working with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BPJAMSOSTEK) to provide the best for volunteers," said Arianti.
Present at the event, from BPJAMSOSTEK were the Deputy Director for Special Program Participation, Hadi Purnomo and the Deputy Director for Service and Channel Development, Isnavodiar Jatmiko.
In addition, Assistant Deputy for Participation for DKI Jakarta Region Zain Setyadi and Assistant Deputy for Regional Services for DKI Jakarta Vendrista Yuliana, Head of the Jakarta Branch Office Sudirman Suhuri and his staff, Head of Setiabudi Sub-district Tomy Fudihartono and Head of Karet Kiki M. Akbar.
Meanwhile, the Head of BPJAMSOSTEK Jakarta Branch Office Sudirman, Suhuri said that currently, health workers registered as participants in the Jamsostek program include 7,778 Indonesian Doctor Internship Program (PIDI) participants, and 178 active Specialist Doctor Education Program (PGDS).
Then, non-ASN participants from the Jakarta Health Training Center, Jakarta III Health Polytechnic, and the Directorate of Health Personnel Utilization with a total of 107 active participants.
"Specifically, the registration of COVID-19 volunteer participants is currently not concentrated. However, there are already some volunteers who have registered through our collaboration with participating companies through the CSR distribution program," said Suhuri.
In addition, there are 5,613 Nusantara Sehat (NS) participants and 5,247 Specialist Medical Education Program (PPDS) participants registered through the CSR program in collaboration with participating companies in 2020 and 2021.
Until now, those who continue to pay fees and are still active as participants, namely PPDS participants from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (FKUI) as many as 1,228 participants.
"We have held a meeting with the Secretary of the Indonesian Health Workers Council of the Ministry of Health regarding the protection of COVID-19 volunteer health workers serving throughout Indonesia, which is planned to start the registration process in April 2022," said Suhuri.
