Minister Nadiem: Use Education Report Cards To Identify Root Problems In The Regions
JAKARTA - Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Mendikbudristek) Nadiem Anwar Makarim said the Education Report Card could be used to identify the root causes of problems in each education unit.
“The essence of this Education Report Card is to make it easier for schools to map educational conditions and improve the quality of learning. This process of studying the Education Report Card will awaken schools and teachers in determining the direction of improving learning," said Nadiem at the launch of the 19th episode of Merdeka Learning which was monitored in Jakarta, Friday, March 1, quoted from Antara.
Rapor Pendidikan is a platform that integrates various educational data to help education units and education offices identify achievements and root causes, reflect, and then design data-based improvement strategies.
The function of the education report card is to provide reflection and problem identification for each education unit and education office, to develop a more precise and data-based improvement plan.
The Education Report Report displays data on the quality of education units or regions obtained from various national assessments or surveys. The Education Report is available for education units and the education office to be able to access this information. Educational units can see in detail the elements per dimension so that they can explore the conditions of achievement and the learning process in their respective places.
For services, they can see on a macro basis what issues are happening in their respective regions and can also see based on the level of focus.
In addition, there is also a download feature, especially for education units and education offices who are interested in carrying out further processing of the data available in the Education Report Card. The public can also view the results of the National Assessment through the dashboard of the Public Education Report Card.
For areas that need assistance, the Ministry of Education and Culture will provide assistance. Assistance is carried out through data-based planning (PBD) which is expected to be a solution to planning problems at the central, regional and educational units.
“Let's use the Education Report Card to identify the root cause of the problems in each education unit and region, reflect on the data-based Education Report Report results, and together we fix the world of Indonesian education as a whole. With the Education Report Card, let's together realize the Freedom of Learning," he said.
