Winning Two Awards, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Appreciates The Implementation Of Central Java Police Traffic Management

SEMARANG - Dirlantas Polda Central Java Kombes Pol Suryo Nugroho received the best award at the Integrated Road Safety Management System (IRSMS) Award 2022, which was held at the JW Marriott Hotel, Surabaya, East Java, Friday, March 25.

IRSMS is a reporting activity competition using an online accident data application/IRSMS organized by the National Police Headquarters Korlantas and followed by the Indonesian Police Traffic Directorate.

The criteria assessed are performance, validity, speed of reporting accident data, and decreasing the number of victim fatalities with information technology-based creative breakthroughs that are synchronized with PT Jasa Raharja.

Dirlantas Polda Central Java Kombes Pol Agus Suryo Nugroho conveyed that the award was a source of pride for the Ditlantas Polda Central Java and all traffic members of the Polda Central Java.

"We appreciate and are proud of the achievements that have been achieved. This proves that hard and earnest work will bring extraordinary results," he explained.

He asked all ranks to continue to improve the quality of service to the community.

This award is expected to be used as a motivator for other units to do more in providing the best service and service to the community.

"Something big starts from small things. Simple ideas if seriously developed will be able to become something big which will certainly bring benefits not only to the Police but especially to the community," he said.

Separately, the Dirlantas Polda Central Java also received an award as the best in the development of ETLE Mobile from the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

The award was given when inaugurating ETLE phase 2 at the Wyndham Hotel, Embong Kaliasin, Genteng District, Surabaya City, East Java, Saturday, March 26.

General Sigit said that he was currently developing ETLE camera technology. This is an effort by the National Police to improve security for the community in the smart city concept

This concept can reduce the number of accidents and also the number of crime on the streets.

"We will integrate the smart city concept between the systems in our command center and we will integrate them with the services in the local government," he explained.

According to him, digital-based services will also continue to be improved to provide convenience to the community.

This requires thorough socialization of motorists in order to reduce the risk of accidents resulting in fatalities.

"Based on traffic accident data published by the Korlantas Polri, the number of accidents continues to decline in areas where ETLE has been installed," he explained.

General Listyo Sigit assessed that the existence of ETLE could be part of law enforcement education to the public so that they are always aware of and obey traffic regulations. Currently, there are 14 Polda areas with ETLE.

"14 regional police areas, including North Sumatra Police, South Sumatra Police, Bangka Belitung Police, West Kalimantan Police, Central Kalimantan Police, South Kalimantan Police, East Kalimantan Police, Gorontalo Police, Bali Police, NTB Police, NTT Police, Bengkulu Police, West Papua Police, and Papuan Police," he explained.
