JAKARTA - Member of Commission I DPR TB Hasanuddin responded to President Joko Widodo's anger regarding the use of imported goods by a number of government agencies. Also highlighted was the procurement of TNI-Polri uniforms and shoes.

As far as Hasanuddin knows, so far the uniforms and shoes of members of the TNI-Polri still use domestic products.

"As far as I know, the uniforms and shoes of the TNI and Polri are still using domestic products," said TB Hasanuddin when confirmed by VOI, Friday, March 25.

The PDIP legislator for the West Java constituency mentioned the brands of uniforms and shoes worn by TNI-Polri soldiers. All of them, he said, came from Tangerang and Bandung.

"The uniforms include Sritex and Pancaprima products. While the shoes are all products from Tangerang and Bandung. All domestic products," said the member of the defense commission.

Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) expressed his anger at imported 'culture'. Jokowi said that one of the procurement of imported goods is TNI-Polri uniforms and shoes.

This was stated by Jokowi when giving a briefing on the Affirmative Action Proudly Made in Indonesia in Bali, Friday, March 25.

He regretted importing products that could actually be produced by domestic producers.

"Try, buying imported CCTV. In the country, there are those who can produce it. What is this? We don't think that we are a developed country, just buy imported CCTV. We buy military and police uniforms and shoes from outside. We produce it everywhere. can," said Jokowi.

He also demanded that the procurement of goods in this way be stopped immediately. "Do not continue," said Jokowi.
