From NTT, President Jokowi Continues Working Visit To Bali
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo continued his working visit from the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) to Bali.
Based on information quoted by Antara from the statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, the Head of State arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency, at around 20.35 WITA, Thursday, March 24.
The President was welcomed by the Governor of Bali Wayan Koster, the Bali Police Chief Inspector General Putu Jayaan Danu Putra, Kasdam IX/Udayana Brigadier General Harfendi, Danlanud Ngurah Rai Colonel Pnb Reza Ranesa RS, and Danlanal Denpasar Bali Marine Colonel I Dewa Nyoman Gede Rake Susilo.
Also present at the airport were Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi and President Commissioner of PT Telekomunikasi Seluler Wishnutama Kusubandio.
The President and his entourage went straight to the hotel to spend the night and continue the work agenda the next day.
Previously, throughout Thursday the President had made a working visit in NTT. The President, among others, inaugurated the Kupang City Regional Arrangement, and provided direct cash assistance (BLT) to traders at Penfui Market, Maulafa District, Kupang.
Next, the President went to Timor Tengah Selatan Regency, NTT, to review the stunting reduction acceleration program, inspect hydraulic ram pump wells and also provide BLT for traders at the Soe Inpres Market.
After that, the President continued his activities to Belu Regency, to inaugurate the Ben Mboi Polytechnic, Defense University and inspect the location for planting corn food estate.
