If You Don't Want To Be Snatched By Other Clubs, Experts Say Manchester United Must Move Quickly To Secure Ten Hag's Services
JAKARTA - Dutch football expert Marcel van der Kraan says Premier League club Manchester United must convince Erik ten Hag to become their coach next season.
Quoted by Antara from Sky Sports, Thursday, Van der Kraan said that Manchester United must move quickly to secure the services of Ten Hag because there are two other clubs that are also communicating with the Dutch coach.
"If Manchester United want to make things work, they have to speed things up and make things real. They have to give him a contract because I think there's a real danger it could be too late for him," said Van der Kraan.
Van der Kraan explained, Manchester United is known as a 'graveyard' for several coaches after Sir Alex Ferguson's time such as Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ten Hag might consider this.
"For Ten Hag, maybe there is a consideration that Manchester United is a grave for the manager. Not everything during his career went well for United when you see how Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer all failed and damaged their reputation," explained Van der Kraan.
He said that currently there are two clubs that are in good communication with Ten Hag, and both of these clubs are potential champions in their country and play in the Champions League.
"One of these clubs is very serious about Ten Hag, and I think this is in mainland Europe, not in England. I know for the fact that Ten Hag is very enthusiastic about this job," said Van der Kraan.
Some time ago, Manchester United reportedly established positive communication with Ten Hag, who is projected as head coach next season to replace Ralf Rangnick.
