Announcement Of The Cooking Oil Mafia Still Confused, DPR Collects Trade Minister Lutfi's Promise: Don't Just Make Up
JAKARTA - The announcement of the cooking oil mafia is still confusing. In fact, previously the Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi very vehemently said there were suspicions of a cooking oil mafia in the three regions and it should have been announced last Monday.
Member of Commission VII DPR RI, Mulyanto also demanded the promise of Trade Minister Lutfi to announce the name of the rogue cooking oil entrepreneur. He asked the Trade Minister to be consistent with all statements that have been made to the public.
Mulyanto said that all the words of the Minister of Trade Lutfi should not be made up in order to appear serious in dealing with the cooking oil problem. Due to the fact that to this day the price of cooking oil is still high.
"The Minister of Trade should not go wrong with what has been said. Don't usually give guesses to mothers, which one is cheap but empty oil or expensive but lots of oil," he told reporters, Wednesday, March 23.
According to Mulyanto, the question of the Minister of Trade Lutfi regarding cooking oil is a difficult choice for mothers.
"They will definitely answer mesem only. Because both are choices they don't like," he said.
Furthermore, Mulyanto said that if you only gave guesses like that, mothers could return the question to Trade Minister Lutfi regarding the scarcity and high cost of cooking oil.
"Then the ladies and gentlemen can also take a guess for the Minister of Trade, which one would you choose, the rare oil, Mr. Trade Minister resigning or the expensive oil, Mr. Trade Minister stopping?" Mulyanto quipped.
Mulyanto added that currently the public is waiting for the arrangement of bulk cooking oil according to the Highest Retail Price (HET). He also reminded not to let this type of cooking oil is also rare because it is sucked into the industry or processed again into packaged cooking oil.
"The Trade Minister promised, within a week, the arrangement of this bulk migration will be completed. This includes the Ramadan promise that basic goods will be controlled," he said.
Mulyanto also asked Trade Minister Lutfi to really keep his promise. Don't just bullshit that doesn't mean anything. If the Minister of Trade finds a problem in the process of structuring the migration trade system, he should report it to the president and the DPR. So that the president and the DPR can make decisions.
"The Trade Minister should not be silent and just pretend to be working. If he is unable to resolve this issue, the Trade Minister should resign," said Mulyanto.
