Ministry Of Home Affairs Hands IKN Needs And Authorities To Head Of Authority
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Home Affairs conveyed that all the authorities needed by the National Capital of the Archipelago would be handed over to the government authorities.
The Director General of Advil and Regional Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Safrizal, in a public consultation activity on the Draft Implementing Regulation of Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning IKN, said that the exception was only the authority of a national strategic nature from the Central Government.
"The principle is simple, we hand over all the authority or government affairs that we need to IKN, the authority needed by IKN, whether the authority belongs to the government, provincial, district, city governments is handed over to IKN, except for those that are nationally strategic," he said, quoted by Antara. , Tuesday 22 March.
National strategic authority cannot be delegated because it involves the national interest as a whole. In addition, according to him, another requirement that IKN may not implement is if IKN considers that the authority should not exercise this authority.
"(Or) a statement from IKN, we should not hold it because if we are forced to do it later, there is not enough time or strategic enough to hold it," he said.
Or, he continued, there are other opinions from the authorities, such as there will be a lot of business that will disrupt concentration in the development of the nation's capital city.
IKN is expected to be realized soon with various accelerations, so that the dream of becoming a symbol of the identity of the Indonesian nation can be realized quickly.
It is also hoped that the National Capital of the Archipelago will become a pride and grow as a sustainable city. Safrizal hopes that IKN will become a driving city for the Indonesian economy in the future.
