President Jokowi Reportedly Will Watch MotoGP Live At The Mandalika Circuit
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will watch the MotoGP race live from the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on Sunday, March 20 tomorrow.
"Yes, tomorrow (President Jokowi, ed) will go to Mandalika," said a VOI source within the government, Saturday, March 19.
Later, President Jokowi will watch the motorcycle racing live there. In addition, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta is scheduled to give trophies to MotoGP winners.
"(President, ed) watched the match and gave trophies to the winners," said the source.
Previously, President Jokowi confirmed that he would be present to watch the MotoGP race at the Mandalika Circuit. However, at that time, he had not said when he would watch the race.
This was conveyed directly by Jokowi after he met with MotoGP racers such as Marc Marquez to Joan Mir, Alex Rins, Francesco Bagnaia, Jack Miller, Maverick Vinales, Alex Marquez, to Takaaki Nakagami at the Merdeka Palace on Wednesday, March 16.
