The Vocalist Of Sisitipsi Band Becomes A Suspect, 0.20 Gram Of Marijuana And 4 Types Of Tranquilizers As Evidence
JAKARTA - The vocalist of Sisitipsi band, Muhammad Fauzan Lubis, has been named a suspect in a narcotics abuse case. Marijuana and various types of sedative drugs are evidence.
"We have secured and named a suspect on behalf of the MFL (Muhammad Fauzan Lubis)," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Friday, March 18.
The determination of the suspect is based on several pieces of evidence. One of them is the result of Fauzan's urine test which is positive for marijuana
"The results of the initial check of evidence proved positive to contain marijuana and other drugs that were secured positive for alprazolam," said Zulpan.
Then, the determination of the suspect was based on the findings of narcotic evidence. Ranging from marijuana weighing 0.20 grams to 4 types of sedatives.
"Five and a half grains of sanax, half dumolite, one alprazolam, one labol capsule, and a doctor's prescription for drugs containing psychotropic substances," said Zulpan.
Based on the preliminary examination, Fauzan obtained marijuana from a dealer who is still being investigated. Fauzan admitted that he consumed the prohibited items to support his work as a musician.
In this case, Fauzan is suspected of Article 127 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Article 62 of Law Number 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics with a maximum threat of 5 years in prison.
Previously, it was reported that the vocalist of the Sisitipsi band, Muhammad Fauzan Lubis, was arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police. He was arrested in the Blok M area, South Jakarta on March 17 at 00.30 WIB.
