Jambi Provincial Government Assists In Completing Land Compensation For The Tans Sumatra Toll Road
JAMBI - The Jambi Provincial Government is committed to assisting the settlement of land compensation for the Trans Sumatra toll road in the area in order to encourage the acceleration of land compensation to the community.
"The Jambi Provincial Government will help resolve the issue of land compensation. There are several points that need to be emphasized with accelerated compensation. We ask the Central Government to pay immediately," said Jambi Governor Dr H Al Haris while chairing the Toll Road Land Procurement Expose Meeting in Jambi Province. , reported by Antara, Thursday, March 17.
He said there were approximately Rp. 82 billion to date that had to be paid immediately.
"Because we are worried that people will change their minds later," continued Al Haris.
As a form of his support, the governor encouraged the acceleration of the construction of the Betung - Jambi and Jambi - Rengat toll roads by instructing the regents, sub-district heads and the Jambi Province National Land Agency to immediately resolve problems related to the procurement of land parcels as toll road routes.
The involvement of the Jambi Provincial Government, said Haris, in accelerating the construction of toll roads in Jambi Province so that the construction of toll roads can be carried out quickly.
According to him, the socialization process had been completed long ago, and was also continued with a site review process, after which the compensation process which was currently underway was carried out. Some have already been paid.
"In the next few days, I will immediately meet the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing and the Minister of Finance, so that the toll road section in Jambi Province is immediately carried out," said Al Haris.
Meanwhile, Assistant Deputy for Strategy and Policy for Investment Acceleration of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia, Feri Pasaribu, conveyed that the implementation of the construction of the Trans-Sumatra toll road (JTTS) phase II along 574 kilometers in mid-2022.
There are three sections that are in the second phase, namely the Betung—Tempino—Jambi section with a total length of 169 kilometers and an investment value of Rp. 25.2 trillion, Jambi—Rengat which stretches for 198 kilometers with a value of Rp. 34.19 trillion, and Rengat—Pekanbaru which spans 207 kilometers. kilometers with a value of Rp. 43.47 trillion.
