Pak Luhut, Many Ask To Reveal Big Data Postponement Of The 2024 Election, PDIP: Is The Source Big Data Or Big Mouth?

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, said that 110 million people on social media wanted the 2024 elections to be postponed. This claim is doubted by the PDI-P (PDIP).

PDIP politician Masinton Pasaribu said Luhut's claim would not be considered a lie if the public both knew the source of the data was valid or not.

"The source is big data or "big mouth" huh?? #LordBicaraPenundaan," Masinton said through his Twitter account, @Masinton, quoted Monday, March 14.

So that the public does not doubt, Masinton asked Luhut to be transparent about the claims he had made to the public. As a public official, an attitude of openness should be shown to the public.

"As a form of transparency to the public, it is better if the big data claim is held openly," said the member of Commission XI of the DPR.

Previously, Coordinating Minister Luhut claimed to have big data on people's attitudes on social media related to the 2024 election. He said that there were 110 million data that he absorbed stating that the people were not interested in the upcoming democratic party.

The big data contains many people who are not interested in the 2024 election because they are focused on economic recovery. The big data also claims that the people don't want a split to happen, such as the emergence of tadpoles or geeks in the 2019 election

Luhut stated that the election cost was very expensive, namely Rp. 110 trillion. In the current situation, said Luhut, the big data in his pocket said the public did not agree that the budget was spent in the midst of the economic crush due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"If this middle-lower group basically wants to be calm, talk about the economy, they don't want it to be like yesterday," said Luhut in an interview session uploaded to Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube account.
