Popular With Semantic Errors, Jaechan DONGKIZ Claims To Be A Bullying
JAKARTA - The name Jaechan DONGKIZ became popular after starring in the BL series entitled Semantic Error. In the midst of this popularity, Jaechan was called bullying when he was in school.
Starting from a Twitter tweet, a user claimed that Jaechan smoked at school and harassed students at school. The user also uploaded a photo of Jaechan in school to prove his claim.
The owner of this account wonders why Jaechan became a K-pop idol. It is said that during his trainee days, he also did disgraceful acts and changed his appearance.
Dongyo Entertainment, which houses Jaechan, shared the latest news. They've talked to some of Jaechan's colleagues and said the writing is not true.
"After the post, we checked with the artist personally and did not see his friends and we can confirm the post is not true," the agency said.
"On March 4, 2022, we sued the author for spreading false information and we continue to monitor the development of the information," they continued.
The agency also stated that it was continuing to monitor the development of the case while looking at conversations on the internet that wrote about Jaechan. They asked fans to share the progress of the investigation process.
"Dongyo Entertainment will not sit idly by watching a newly bloomed flower step on unjustly from a hidden place without a name," concluded the agency statement.
Jaechan debuted with DONGKIZ in 2019. Three years after making music, Jaechan became the main character in the Semantic Error series with Park Seoham. The series became popular in South Korea.
