A Series Of Criminal Articles That Ensnared Crazy Rich Doni Salmanan In The Quotex Case
JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police (Bareskrim Polri) has named Doni Salmanan as a suspect in the alleged fraud case under the guise of Quatex trading. In this case, Doni was charged with multi-layered articles starting from the ITE Law, the Criminal Code, and the crime of money laundering (TPPU).
"Article 45 paragraph 1 junto 28 paragraph 1 of the ITE Law threatens 6 years, 378 of the Criminal Code, Article 3 paragraph 3 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Money Laundering," said Head of Public Information Unit of the Public Relations Division of the Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Tuesday, March 8.
With this article, Ramadhan said that Crazy Rich Bandung was threatened with a prison sentence of 20 years.
"The threat of punishment for the person concerned is 20 years," said Ramadhan.

Doni Salmanan as a suspect in a suspected fraud case under the guise of Quatex trading, including being charged with the ITE Law and money laundering. In that case, the iPhone 13 and King Salamanan's YouTube account were used as evidence.
"The evidence seized was an iPhone 13 cellphone, a YouTube king Salmanan account, two email accounts connected to a YouTube account, and a Quotex account," said Ramadhan.
Investigators also confiscated evidence of deposit transactions and account mutations belonging to Doni Salmanan. Not to forget, the video recording on the suspect's YouTube account also became evidence.
"There is a bundle of bank account mutations in the suspect's name, there is a bundle of proof of deposit transfers," said Ramadhan.
Prior to the determination of the suspect, Doni Salmanan was questioned for a dozen hours. During the examination, Doni Salmanan admitted his actions.
“In the examination, they were very cooperative. The person concerned admits what was done and gives a smooth explanation to the investigator. There were 90 questions given to DS (Doni Salmanan) when he was examined by the witness SBG," said Brigadier General Ramadhan.
