Bareskrim Will Confiscate Tesla, Ferrari To Indra Kenz's House
JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has recorded a number of assets belonging to Indra Kesuma alias Indra Kenz which will be confiscated in connection with the money laundering crime (TPPU) in the Binomo case. The assets range from luxury cars to apartments.
"There is a blue Tesla model 3 electric car, a 2012 Ferrari California car," said the Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan when confirmed, Friday, March 4.
In addition to assets in the form of vehicles, investigators will also confiscate houses and apartments belonging to the suspect in the Binomo case. Where, the assets are located in Medan and Tangerang.
"The assets of the house in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra are approximately R 6 billion, the house in Medan is worth approximately Rp. 1.7 billion, the house in Tangerang, and the apartment in Medan are approximately Rp. 800 million," said Whisnu.
Other assets are money in four accounts. The account has also been frozen.
"Then, 4 accounts are in the name of Indra Kesuma, and Jenius is in the name of Indra Kesuma," said Whisnu.
As previously reported, the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency stated that it had written to several parties in the process of confiscation of Indra Kenz's assets in the alleged fraud case under the guise of Binomo binary options trading. This investigator's letter is to fulfill administrative requirements in the confiscation process.
"Investigators have sent letters to BPN, then PPATK, and Korlantas, as well as to the court," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko.
In addition to fulfilling the administrative process, the purpose of writing to these parties is to obtain approval. So, after being approved, investigators will immediately confiscate assets suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
