Episode 7 Thirty Nine Doesn't Air As Scheduled. Why?

JAKARTA - Episode 7 of the Korean drama Thirty Nine will not air as scheduled, which is on March 9. JTBC as the first broadcaster announced the broadcast delay for a reason.

This is due to the presidential election that will be broadcast on JTBC so they chose to postpone the airing of the new episode of Thirty Nine.

"Regular programs will be difficult to broadcast because of the presidential election program, so we decided to postpone it for a week instead of continuing to air on the 9th," JTBC said in a statement quoting SPOTVNews on Friday, March 4.

JTBC has prepared a special episode that summarizes the story of Thirty Nine starting from episodes 1-6 while waiting for episode 7 which will air on March 16.

Thirty Nine tells of the friendship of three friends at the age of 39 years. Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin) is a dermatologist who also owns a beauty clinic in Gangnam.

Jung Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do) is an acting teacher who teaches young actors and actresses. Meanwhile, Jang Joo Hee (Kim Ji Hyun) is an employee at a department store who has never been in a romantic relationship.

In the latest episode, Cha Mi Jo and Jang Joo Hee face the fact that Jung Chan Young was diagnosed with a disease and his life will not last long. They try to help Chan Young solve a series of problems in life.

Thirty Nine's drama rating, which had dropped, has now changed to 7 percent. This drama also ranks third on the list of the most talked about dramas this week.

The drama Thirty Nine airs every Wednesday and Thursday on JTBC and Netflix.
