4 Russian Sukhoi Fighter Jets Suddenly Burst Into The Skies Of Sweden

JAKARTA - The motive is not yet clear. But the presence of two Russian warplanes in Swedish airspace has irritated the country.

Last Wednesday, March 2, quoted from the official website of the Swedish Armed Forces, Swedish airspace was violated by two SU 27 and two SU 24 belonging to Russia.

The Swedish air force immediately reacted by carrying out operations via JAS 39 aircraft.

"This shows that our readiness is good. We are on location to secure the territorial integrity and borders of Sweden. We have full control of the situation", said Air Force Commander Carl-Johan Edström.

Swedish airspace was violated by two Russian SU 27s and two Russian SU 24s. The incident was brief and took place east of Gotland, at sea.

“With the current situation in the background, we take this incident very seriously. Russia's actions were unprofessional and irresponsible”, said Air Force Commander Edström.
